An autistic kid in Bangkok, Thailand on his first day of school was scared and was found on the third-story ledge of the balcony at the school. Teachers tried to beckon him to safely come inside but it didn’t seem to work and called for help.
The fire department came and after hearing the boy’s mom mention his love for superheroes, it prompted one of the fire station’s own Somchai Yoosabai to rush back to his station and make a quick change. Minutes later, Somchai came wearing a spandex Spiderman morph suit to the rescue. He told the boy Spider-Man is here to rescue you, no monsters are going to attack you and he also told the boy to walk slowly towards him as running could be dangerous. Eventually the little boy immediately stood up and walked into the Spiderman suited firefighter’s arms.
Somchai keeps a Spiderman costume in an attempt to liven up school fire drills and also has Japanese TV character Ultraman.
